Java + Kafka Developer (L3) – CLT | Hybrid – São Paulo (Itaim Bibi)

We’re looking for experienced and passionate Java + Kafka Developers to join one of the largest investment banks in the world.

You will work on global projects and collaborate with international teams from India, the US, the UK, and more, contributing to high-performance, large-scale solutions.

Location

• Hybrid model: 3x per week at the office – Itaim Bibi, São Paulo.

Salary Range

• Junior: starting from R$5,000
• Pleno/Senior: up to R$18,000

Technical Requirements (Must Have)

• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or above).
• Hands-on experience with Kafka.
• Basic knowledge of Unix and SQL, with willingness to grow.
• Experience with Restful APIs, Python/Shell scripting.
• Familiarity with GIT, SVN, and SDLC processes.
• Experience with CI/CD practices and automated deployments.
• Fluent English – essential for daily communication with global teams.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, collaborative mindset, and results-driven approach.

• Develop, debug, and maintain high-performance Java applications.
• Implement enhancements, perform testing, and deploy new features.
• Participate in solution architecture design and support technical decisions.
• Ensure applications are aligned with business goals and standards.
• Collaborate with international teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Identify inefficiencies and propose infrastructure and process improvements.
• Contribute to the evolution of CI/CD pipelines and internal workflows.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior developers.
