Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Device Management (MDM) Engineer to oversee the administration, support, and security of enrolled mobile devices across iOS, Android, and ChromeOS platforms. This role involves managing WorkspaceONE MDM, providing technical support, ensuring compliance, and working closely with internal teams and third-party vendors to maintain and enhance mobile device infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- MDM Management & Support:
- Oversee and support mobile device enrollment, configuration, and policy enforcement in WorkspaceONE MDM.
- Manage MDM features such as wipe, selective wipe, lock/unlock, compliance enforcement, password policies, and device tracking.
- Act as an escalation point for MDM-related incidents and requests, collaborating with the Service Desk and Mobility Engineering teams.
- Manage the App Catalog and application publishing using the client's package management tools and MDM platforms.
- Generate and provide reports from WorkspaceONE MDM console for management and stakeholders.
- Assist in mobile security incident responses, including addressing vulnerabilities and zero-day attacks.
- Infrastructure & Configuration Management:
- Support on-premise WorkspaceONE MDM infrastructure, including application updates and log reviews.
- Manage user accounts, roles, and privileges within the MDM environment.
- Define and implement compliance policies, access controls, and application management settings.
- Renew and maintain APNS certificates for iOS device management.
- Implement new features, architectural changes, and enhancements in WorkspaceONE MDM.
- Mobile Application Management:
- Publish and manage mobile applications within the WorkspaceONE MDM ecosystem.
- Assist in onboarding new applications, working with engineering teams to assess feasibility and security requirements.
End User & Technical Support:
- Develop, document, and maintain EMM support procedures that align with company policies.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for MDM issues, troubleshooting provisioning problems, and assisting end users.
- Act as the primary liaison between the client and third-party EMM vendors for issue resolution.
- Assist end users in registering mobile devices to the MDM solution.
- Provide reporting and trend analysis on mobility support requests and MDM performance.
- Additional Responsibilities (MobileIron MDM):
- Support Chrome URL whitelisting for the client's app on Android tablets.
- Generate and manage QR codes for the client's app on Android tablets.
- Qualifications and Job Requirements
- To be based in São Paulo, Brazil, with a willingness to work on-site three days per week.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are required.
- Experience with MDM administration with WorkspaceONE MDM or a similar platform (e.g., MobileIron, Intune).
- Strong knowledge of iOS, Android, and ChromeOS device management.
- Experience with MDM security policies, device compliance, and incident resolution.
- Hands-on experience with user access controls, compliance policies, and role-based administration.
- Understanding of mobile application publishing, configuration, and troubleshooting in an enterprise environment.
- Ability to generate custom reports and analyze MDM trends.
