Role Description:
As a Business Development Executive, you will work closely with our Sales Manager, supporting our
lead identification, research, and sales outreach and relationship development activities. Your primary
responsibility will be to conduct lead generation activities and provide valuable insights for identified
target accounts in the FinTech, RestaurantTech, Hospitality, Retail domains. Utilizing your prior
experience in cold calling and other types of outreach, you will play a crucial role in identifying potential
clients and buying signals of prospects. You will focus on building initial relationships with prospects,
generating and qualifying leads, and facilitating introductions for the Sales Manager with the goal of
scheduling follow-up discussions.
Responsibilities:
● Conduct research to identify prospects, potential opportunities, buying signals, contacts, or
other meaningful insights which can then be used for such purposes as:
● Identify leads, points of entry, and communication elements needed;
● Customize outreach communication templates or playbooks or create required
content from scratch; and
● Equip Sales Manager for follow-up conversations or in-person meetings (during industry events visits or CTO Dinners sponsored and organized by the company).
● Collaborate with marketing and web research teams to execute targeted outreach
campaigns via email, LinkedIn, phone, and virtual or in-person meetings.
● Conduct hands-on lead generation activities, outreach to high-value targets and utilize social
media channels to engage with potential buyers and influencers, effectively leveraging
buying signals.
● Contribute to the development of marketing and sales materials based on customer insights
and industry trends identified as a result of your research.
● Analyze market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to inform and
improve the effectiveness of sales strategies.
● Maintain accurate records of interactions, meetings, and follow-ups using the company's
CRM system.
Qualification Requirements:
● Communication Skills: English language fluency, both written and spoken (Advanced).
● Knowledge of the Software Development Domain
● Experience in Lead Generation: Proven track record in conducting lead generation activities, including cold calling, email outreach, and social media engagement (primarily via LinkedIn).
● Research Skills: Strong research abilities with the capacity to actively identify buying opportunities, signals, and other relevant insights. Ability to conduct thorough market research, analyze trends, and gather valuable information to support sales strategies.
