Our client is a multinational company with a strong presence in Brazil in the agricultural sector.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of the department, this professional will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the financial statements, ensuring compliance with BRGAAP, IFRS, US GAAP, and the company's policies, as well as addressing the differences among these standards.

The main responsibilities of this professional will be:

• Mentor, develop, and lead a team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance;
• Build organizational capacity within the team and initiate succession planning;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including regional and global Finance, Tax, and Treasury, to ensure alignment and support talent development;
• Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements in compliance with USGAAP, IFRS, BRGAAP, and CHS policies;
• Manage and address the GAAP differences between USGAAP, IFRS, and Local GAAPs to ensure accurate consolidation and reporting;
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across Argentina and Uruguay, maintaining robust internal controls;
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance;
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures tailored to regional and global standards;
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including ERP system optimization and automation of accounting processes;
• Lead the Audit Process with External Auditors;
• Collaborate with the Business Intelligence (BI) team to develop and enhance financial reporting and analytics;
• Leverage advanced reporting tools, such as Power BI, to provide actionable insights to senior leadership;
• Support ERP Deployments (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards).
