 Our client is a large multinational healthcare company, with solid presence in Brazil.

Reporting to the Head of Legal & Compliance, this role acts as a key advisor to senior management, providing strategic legal support, managing contracts and litigation, and ensuring compliance with laws and internal policies. It also leads the implementation of the local Compliance Framework, promoting ethical conduct and alignment with regulatory requirements.The main responsibilities of this professional will be:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing strategic guidance on legal, regulatory, and compliance matters that impact business operations and long-term objectives;
  • Navigate complex regulatory environments, ensuring organizational adherence to local laws, industry codes, and internal policies while supporting business growth;
  • Structure and negotiate high-value contracts and strategic transactions;
  • Lead the development and execution of governance frameworks, compliance program, and risk mitigation initiatives across business functions;
  • Oversee dispute resolution strategies, managing external counsel to ensure effective handling of litigation and regulatory actions;
  • Design and deliver training programs to strengthen internal capabilities on ethics, compliance, and regulatory best practices;
  • Promote a culture of integrity and accountability, encouraging proactive use of internal reporting mechanisms and managing investigations with discretion and rigor;
  • Serve as a key stakeholder in shaping corporate policies and procedures, ensuring they reflect evolving legal and compliance landscapes;
  • Facilitate cross-border collaboration, aligning local practices with global standards and sharing insights with international counterparts.

An excellent opportunity for a senior professional, with a rigorous academic background, as well as proven track record in the Legal & Compliance department of multinational companies from health sector.Strong leadership, people and stakeholder management skills, holistic and strategic business vision, proven track record interacting with senior executives and ability to influence senior leaders, solution orientation and ability to take decisions with significant impact on the risk management process and business results, strong written and verbal communication, diplomacy and interpersonal relationship skills complete the profile.

Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory.
