This position will be hired under UCM and allocated to work directly with one of our clients, a multinational company in the consumer goods industry.

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior IT Project Manager with strong experience in technology projects and solid hands-on exposure to SAP environments. This position plays a key role in supporting regional LATAM initiatives, connecting business needs with technical teams, and ensuring the successful execution of IT projects across multiple functional areas.

We want someone who is operational, analytical, execution-focused, and actively involved in day‑to‑day project activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, manage, and execute technology projects across the LATAM region.
• Coordinate timelines, risks, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
• Work with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, depending on project requirements.
• Partner with vendors, internal teams, and global stakeholders to ensure alignment.

SAP Involvement

• Support initiatives, enhancements, and integrations related to SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA.
• Participate in requirements gathering, documentation, testing, and validation.
• Collaborate with SAP functional/technical teams and external consultants.
• Assist in integrations between SAP and satellite systems.

Process & Analysis

• Document current processes and propose improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Assist in defining KPIs, governance structures, metrics, and project templates.
• Translate business needs into clear technical requirements.

Communication & Coordination

• Facilitate workshops, follow-ups, and alignment sessions with stakeholders.
• Ensure consistent updates to leadership and project participants.
• Act as the link between business units and technical teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Systems, or related fields.
• Experience working in IT projects (PMO, Project Analyst, Project Coordinator, or similar).
• Hands-on experience with SAP (ECC or S/4HANA) in projects, enhancements, or support initiatives.
• Strong understanding of IT processes, integrations, and system lifecycle.
• Experience with project methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, PMBOK).
• Advanced/Fluent English – will interact frequently with global teams.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Certifications such as PSM I, PSPO, PMP, or ITIL.
• Prior experience in multinational companies.
• Familiarity with SAP modules (SD, MM, FI/CO, etc.).
• Experience supporting or coordinating SAP projects or rollouts.
